Bled is one of the most beautiful places in Slovenia, that is for sure. The lake with its little island in the middle is so picturesque that all the visitors are stunned by its beauty.
And high above, there is a gorgeous old castle, overlooking the town and the lake.
This magnificent castle was the location of a very special milonga – King milonga Bled, and I was happy to have the opportunity to play music at this milonga. Tangueros attending the King milonga were coming from Slovenia and a lot of other countries. Some of them from pretty close – Italy, Croatia, and some of them not so close: UK, USA, even from Uruguay.
The evening was something special for everybody because dancing in a place with such views really is special.
