Milonga Parakultural was voted the best milonga in the world in 2018 and 2019 at Premios Tango in Buenos Aires.
It is organized every Monday, Tuesday & Friday in Salon Canning – the most famous tango salon in Buenos Aires, for the last almost 20 years, by Omar Viola, the famous tango organizer. Normally, there are two resident DJs – Horacio Gabin & Federico Elguero, my dear friends – we know each other for the last 15 years.
Of course, it is every dancer’s and every DJ’s dream to perform at this milonga.
This year, I was given the chance to play music at this milonga for the third time in a row, on Tuesday 9th of April 2019, with a live orchestra (Marisol & los gentiles de tango) and a live show by two excellent Argentinian dancers.
