A very special surprise was waiting for all the dancers at our milonga La Milonguita Ljubljana in October 2019. I have invited my dear friend Rok Fink, a tango singer from Buenos Aires, to sing at my milonga. Rok lives in Argentina, but in his heart, he is a Slovene. That’s why his apartment in Buenos Aires looks like a little piece of Slovenia in Argentina.
Probably every tango dancer from Slovenia knows Rok: he is the one who takes care of us when we are in the world’s capital of tango – Buenos Aires. And our stay in Buenos Aires without him would most definitely be a lot more difficult.
This was actually not the first time he was singing in Slovenia: I also had the privilege to organize a special milonga in Piran with him as our guest: Milonga Piran – Pirano.
He is always welcome in our company and I hope that he is coming back soon.
