SEXTETO CRISTAL @ la milonguita ljubljana 2025
On 6 September 2025, Gala Milonga “La Milonguita” was held at the elegant Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana. As a special highlight of the Corazón de Ljubljana 2025 event, this milonga offered a memorable evening of tango music and dance in a refined setting.
Sexteto Cristal is one of the finest tango orchestras in Europe: six exceptional musicians dedicated to performing tango in the spirit of the golden age. With passion and precision, they bring to life the unforgettable sound of the great orchestras of the 1940s and 1950s, captivating audiences wherever they play.
The evening was a great success, attracting tango dancers and enthusiasts from Slovenia and around the world. The amazing tango orchestra Sexteto Cristal delivered an outstanding live performance, impressing the audience with their exceptional playing.
Tango maestros Elvira Lambo and Michael “El Gato” Nadtochi further enriched the evening with their elegant and passionate dances, charming everyone present.
Corazón de Ljubljana, under the organisation of Mateja Juvan from Dance Studio Moj korak, continues to bring world-class tango experiences to Ljubljana, connecting the local community with international artists and high-quality events. Mateja is known as one of the most connected people in Ljubljana’s tango community, and we all deeply appreciate her efforts and value her warm personality 🙂
