Dear tango lovers, I’m excited to announce that this October, Ljubljana will host a four-day tango event featuring the world-renowned dancers Horacio Godoy and Maricel Giacomini, organized by Anton Volkov.
From Thursday, October 3rd, until Sunday, October 6th, we will be celebrating tango with a series of exciting milongas, workshops, and performances. And yes, this includes our beloved Milonga La Milonguita on Saturday, October 5th as part of this incredible tango weekend.
What’s Happening?
• Workshops with Horacio & Maricel: Enhance your tango skills with a variety of workshops led by these tango legends. Their deep knowledge of tango’s history, technique, and musicality will transform your dancing!
• Milonga La Milonguita with TDJ Alenka & Special Performance: On Saturday, October 5th, join us for a special edition of Milonga La Milonguita Ljubljana. The evening will feature tango music by me, TDJ Alenka, along with a stunning performance by Horacio and Maricel. The milonga starts at 20:30 and will go on until 01:00, with the performance happening mid-evening.
• More Milongas: The event will include milongas on Friday, and Sunday as well, so there will be plenty of opportunities to dance, connect, and celebrate this beautiful art form throughout the weekend.
